Electric co-op meets CO-OP Architecture. Cooperation much?

This project houses the business offices and service vehicles of a rural electric cooperative. FEM was our first foray into re-thinking pre-engineered metal buildings, which dot the main roads of most small towns in South Dakota.

Panel types, openings, proportions, and forms were explored – all while very minimally increasing cost. We honored the pragmatic spirit but pushed for beauty and character too.
