This $15M renovation to NSU’s Johnson Fine Arts Center (JFAC) had gone sideways with design, budget and construction issues. We stepped in and helped the University finish the job.

A ways into this project, NSU parted ways with the initial architect and called on us to get things back on track. The job included expanding the lobby area, updating the main theater with improved acoustics and lighting, and adding seating, an orchestra pit and a shell system. An intimate black box theater and an art gallery were also added.

NSU was grateful for our help in the eleventh hour. We’ve had a good working relationship ever since. It’s not all bad being the stand-in.
