Together with our friends at DLR Group, we helped SDSU create a bold roadmap for transforming campus into a hub of research, collaboration, and connection.
This master plan envisions a vibrant campus that addresses the needs of current and future SDSU students. It includes a healthy mix of ideas for improving existing physical assets and adding new square footage on campus.
Integral to the plan is the incorporation of a distinct landscape and open-space strategy, improved infrastructure, and multi-modal circulation throughout campus. These elements work together to ensure smooth movement and connectivity among many new or improved academic buildings (especially research facilities) and campus housing facilities.
The plan builds upon existing successes of the University while reimagining how SDSU utilizes physical resources to fulfill all aspects of the institutional mission. It responds directly to the University’s strategic road map with bold actions and deliberate measures that aim to accelerate SDSU’s upward momentum and growing recognition across the region and nation.
