We helped the fine folks at NSU with a substantial interior renovation at Gerber Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus with a significant role in the University’s history.
Given the school’s origins as a teacher education college, the H.P. Gerber Building at NSU – home to the Millicent Atkins School of Education – has long been a cornerstone on campus.
Beginning in spring 2024, we helped convert the building’s traditional teacher-centered classrooms to dynamic, student-centered learning environments designed to prepare 21st-century leaders in education. We also helped convert a maze of dark corridors into clear, open circulation with collaborative gathering areas along the way.
These improvements will benefit the hundreds of current students and faculty across the School of Education’s three departments: Teacher Education, Sports Sciences, and Psychology and Counselor Education. We think the facelift will cement NSU’s legacy as a top-tier school for these programs, too, helping the University compete and recruit the best young minds.
