What’s better than 50 free outdoor shows every summer in downtown Sioux Falls? Not much, but adding an indoor event space, hospitality spaces for artists, and a loading area with a second stage to the Levitt at the Falls should make it an even more lovable community asset.
The Levitt Foundation supports free concerts at various outdoor venues across the country, including this one in downtown Sioux Falls. After years of success, the staff and board behind Levitt at the Falls decided it was time to expand. An indoor event space, green room and dressing rooms, and a second stage were on the wishlist to improve both the guest and artist experience. They also wished to move their offices from a nearby building to the Levitt Shell.
This expansion, set for completion in Summer 2026, was funded by a host of community donors whose names will be proudly presented across the addition, either via signage or the dedicated donor wall. The new spaces will surely draw even more visitors to the Levitt, contributing to the positive social and economic momentum of downtown Sioux Falls as a whole.
