LATC is on a roll. Together with our friends at BWBR, we added to the momentum with a substantial renovation and addition to the Prairie Lakes Healthcare Center of Learning. If you’re studying to become a nurse, lab tech or even a dental hygienist in South Dakota, LATC has the goods.
As part of our ongoing master planning efforts at LATC, this 49,000 SF remodel and 24,000 SF addition project included a fresh front entry with common spaces, plus updated classrooms, labs, and a 3,900 SF medical simulation suite with four patient rooms and two control rooms. One-way mirrors between control rooms and simulation spaces cultivate live observations and feedback from instructors. This hands-on approach to learning is critical in the field.
Our master plan supports ongoing upgrades to this building to continue elevating LATC as a premier provider of medical training in South Dakota. We’re hammering away on the dental assisting wing now.
