Tyler, MN (2021)

This is Russell Tyler Ruthton (RTR). Three southwest Minnesota towns consolidated into one school district and built a K-12 school. A strong investment in the future.

Pre-2021, folks in the tri-town area sent their kids to elementary school in Ruthton, middle school in Russell, and high school in Tyler. Today, the Knights have 700-some students learning under one roof. And counting. I was told the facility is drawing new students from neighboring districts.

The 160,000 SF building functions around a large common core, which gets plenty of natural light from glass entries and big skylights that run the length of the common area. In addition to several wings of classrooms, the school has a full-size gym and auditorium. An all-turf football field was added too, with a competition track around it. The Knights got the works.
